Sweet Crispy Wontons with Caramelized Bananas and Greek Yogurt: Submitted by: Admin | Date Added: 29 Aug 2012

12 wonton wrappers, sliced 1/4 inch thick
1 tablespoon canola oil
3 tablespoons cinnamon sugar
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
6 bananas, still a little green, 1/2 inch slices
1/4 cup dark brown sugar
Juice of 1/2 lemon
1 pint non-fat Greek yogurt

Cooking Instructions

Add the sliced wontons to the ActiFry. Coat evenly with the oil. Turn on the machine and cook 6-7 minutes. Check after 2 minutes; using a wooden spoon, break up any clumps. Remove from the ActiFry when golden, brown and delicious. In a medium bowl, toss with cinnamon and sugar. Place the butter in the ActiFry, and turn on. After one minute, add the sliced bananas. Check part way through and redistribute if they are pooled together and cook for an additional 6 minutes. Open up the lid and add the brown sugar and lemon juice and cook for an additional 3 minutes. Serve on top of Greek yogurt and garnish with sesame seeds or fried wontons.

This recipe is delicious! I found that I had to keep checking the wontons every couple of minutes until they were done as they clump until they start to get crispy. Will make this again! Left by: Bev (14 Sep 2012)
