1 kg (2.2 lbs) of potatoes.
1 tbsp of oil (I use Olive Oil).
1 tsp of smoked paprika.
2 medium red onions.
125 gm (4oz) cooking chorizo.

Cooking Instructions

1) Peel the potatoes and cut into 2.5cm (1") chunks. Rinse in cold running water, drain and then dry carefully. Place in the Actifry.

2) Mix the oil and paprika together and drizzle over the potatoes.

3) Switch on and leave to cook for about 45 minutes.

4) Meanwhile, peel and quarter the onions. Peel the chorizo and cut into 10mm (3/8") cubes.

5) After 45 minutes thge potatoes should be nearly cooked, but check with a skewer or fork and increase time if necessary.

6) Then add the chorizo and onions and cook for a further 10 minutes.

7) Remove from the Actifry and serve.

I can imagine making this with blood sausage instead of chorizo - or else cabbage and corned beef in place of the onions and chorizo. Yum! Left by: Grace Elizabeth (3 Nov 2011)

Im not too keen on chorizo. I love the patats bravas idea. Would it work the same without the chorizo or is there a substitute? Left by: Kath Daniels (1 Jul 2011)
