Our recipe standards
Actifry.net is an independent community recipe collection. We keep the contributor credits and original dates, and explain what has and has not been checked.
Where the recipes come from
The collection combines the original community archive and recipes recovered from AF Recipes. Some newer entries are short adaptations linked to a manufacturer guide. A historical recipe is not assigned a manufacturer reference unless the source can be identified. We distinguish paddle Actifry, basket-air-fryer and oven methods in the appliance label.
What an editorial check means
We check the text for missing stages, unclear quantities, duplicate entries, unsupported appliance arrangements and obvious copying artefacts. We can correct an abbreviation or split a long instruction without claiming to have cooked the dish. A recipe is marked as reviewed by the editor only when the site editor has checked the recipe and chosen that status. This does not mean it has been kitchen tested.
Recipes with unresolved instructions are held in the private Content review queue. Recipes without photographs are kept in Pending photos. Neither queue is part of the public recipe collection. The public sitemap includes published recipes belonging to this domain; recipes shared with another site retain one canonical owner.
Photographs and permission
A published recipe needs a photograph. We retain recovered photographs alongside their recipe credits and ask new contributors to confirm permission for any image they submit. Manufacturer photographs are not automatically available for reuse just because the recipe guide is online. Contact us through the linked Facebook page if you need to raise a correction or rights issue, identifying the recipe and the part you are concerned about.
Nutrition estimates
Imported figures keep their source status. New estimates use ingredient quantities and food-composition data, with the serving basis and assumptions stated. Brand differences, edible weights, oil absorption and cooking losses can change the result. An unspecified serving count is not replaced by a guessed number. A complete whole-recipe estimate is labelled for the whole recipe. Partial calculations and unresolved assumptions stay in the editor for review.
Community contributions
The submission form forwards accepted contributions to Actifry.net through Formspree. Spam checks run before forwarding. Contributions are reviewed manually and are not published automatically. Your email is not displayed beside the recipe. Please provide the appliance model, measured quantities, ordered steps and a photo you can authorise for publication.
Independence and advertising
Actifry.net is not connected with, sponsored by or endorsed by Tefal or Groupe SEB. Product names identify the equipment. Official repair, warranty and parts enquiries should go directly to Tefal. Advertising helps fund the site, but does not make an advertiser or appliance manufacturer the author of a community recipe.
