TIME TO COOK

Method

Cooking mode keeps the screen awake where your device supports it.

  1. Wash the potatoes and, leaving the skin on, cut them into chips. Rinse them and pat dry with a cloth or kitchen towels.

  2. Put the chips in the ActiFry tray, add a splash of olive oil and Actifry for 25 mins.

  3. While that's going on, prepare the veggie gravy in this manner (if you're really lazy, you could just use veggie gravy granules but, trust me, this is far better):

  4. Sauté the chopped onion and garlic in a little olive oil for 5 or 6 minutes.

  5. Add the cupful of veggie bouillon/stock, the dash of dark sauce and stir well.

  6. Simmer for another 3 or 4 minutes and stir in the flour to thicken the gravy.

  7. When the chips have been Actifried for 25 minutes, open the ActiFry and carefully remove the paddle using a heat-proof glove. Spread the chips out evenly and sprinkle the chopped cheese over them. ActiFry for a further 2 minutes.

  8. Serve immediately with the veggie gravy poured on top.
